Mrs. Sandy wanted to have special donkeys on her farm so she found us at a farm in middle Tennessee. We are special because we are direct descendants of the little donkeys that carried Mary into Bethlehem and Jesus in to Jerusalem, where he was crucified for our sins. The legend says my descendants were present at the crucifixion so we bear the shadow of the cross on our backs. We love being special. We also love to be brushed and petted.
